So who am I? I am Mike Wallester. Born in Toronto in 1982 and still living there with my wife, 3 kids and our 2 dogs. In my daily life I work as offshore mechanic, but I am at home a lot between the times I go offshore. I really love visiting casinos (just like my wife does) and that is something I do at least once in 2 weeks. I got inspired in online casinos when I was looking for a roulette game where I was able to try some tactics.

How did you start playing online casinos?

As stated in my introduction; I was looking for a online roulette game to try some tactics (that didn't worked ha-ha). Since then I try on regular base some online casinos and see what the have to offer. I like casinos but I am not someone who gambles with a lot of money, so just pennyslots for me!

Why did you start online-casino.ca?

I think they are a lot of bad online casinos out there! I'm getting a lot of spam about strange Russian casinos and there are a lot of not licensed crappy casinos that just won't pay your winnings. To protect my Canadian brothers I launched this website. Together with a few friends we've made a list of the best casinos you can find, playable from Canada.

How do you see the future of online gambling in Canada

I don't really know what to say on this question. I was hoping for a overall legalisation so good online casinos can get a official gambling license in Canada, but I don't know if this will ever happen. This year (2015) the state owned casino launched a online caisno where people can gamble with real money, that was a real breaking point for me. Why are they allowed to do that why other companies can't? They have a position that is bad for the players as there are no other companies on the market that can advertise the way they do. So less promotions, less games etc.
